Alberto Washington has worked in investment and financial advisory for nearly two decades and serves as Managing Director of Finance at Gavilan Commodities. He offers capital advisory to corporations across many industry verticals, advising on capital funding, strategic M&A, recapitalization, restructuring, private equity and alternative financing. Clients benefit from his strong network of broker-dealers and funding institutions across the U.S. and Europe — investment banking firms, financial institutions, hedge funds, private equity, family offices and venture capital.
Before founding Mercury Americas Financial Partners, he spent fifteen years in asset management, serving as a Director in UBS Private Wealth Management, Vice President in the Global Stock Selection Group at AQR Capital Management, and a Private Equity and M&A Analyst at Greenhill & Co.
He holds a BS in Economics from the Wharton School and a BS and MS in Systems Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania. He is fluent in Spanish.
